Prismacolor and Verithin colored pencils on Strathmore Bristol Vellum, 8″x8″. Background: Crayola watercolor pencils. Working from a photo to practice blending and contrast. Verithin pencils are harder and more permanent, so I use them to lay down the basic drawing and dark color scheme. Prismacolor pencils are softer and brighter, so I use them for color composition and blending.
